The Wawa Townsite in 1948

This is an aerial view of the Wawa Townsite as it looked like in 1948.  There are only a few residential streets.  The streets were in the process of having water and sewer lines installed.  If you look closely, you can see the ditches leading from the street to each lot, that look like driveways.  The sewer and water system was installed by Algoma Ore.
